Registration Fees

All fees are are inclusive of 10% GST (Goods and Services Tax).

All Registration fees will be processed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Student Registrations

Only those that hold a valid student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or are a holder of an international student card (submitted in English) qualifies for the student rate. Students must also be studying full time.

A copy of your student id card must be uploaded during the registration process or emailed to the Conference Manager registration@ghsconf.com. Without this the full registration fee will be charged.

LIC Registrations* All LIC registrations now exhausted and no longer available

To be entitled to the LIC Registration rate you must be a resident from a low-income country.

If you can furnish us with an employer’s letter, you may qualify for our Low-Income Country (LIC) registration. Kindly email program@ghsconf.com to request an invitation for the LIC fee. Please note that this registration process only covers conference attendance; we regret that we are unable to assist with travel expenses to Sydney.

*Please Note: Due to Venue capacity restrictions, there will be a limited number of LIC registration places available. A large proportion of these LIC registrations have been reserved for travel bursary participants. Once the travel bursaries have been allocated then the LIC registrations will become available again.

Day Registrations

Attending the GHS 2024 conference on Tuesday June 18, 2024 grants access to the Welcome Reception. Those who choose to attend on Friday June 21, 2024 will be eligible to attend the visit to Taronga Zoo.

Registration Inclusions

Delegate, Student and LIC registrations are entitled to the following:

Attendance at all sessions during the Conference
Daily catering including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
Ticket to the Welcome Reception
Conference satchel including Conference materials
Ticket to Taronga Zoo and return transfers

Day registrants are entitled to the following:

Attendance at all sessions during the selected Conference day
Catering included for the specific day registered for
Conference satchel including Conference materials
Ticket to social functions dependent on which day selected for registration (further information on this can be found below)

Social Functions

Welcome Reception

Full delegates of GHS2024 will receive entry into the welcome reception on Tuesday 18 June 2024. Tuesday day registrants will also have this included in their registration.

Additional tickets are available for guests or day registrants who are not attending Tuesday’s sessions.

Additional tickets cost $120 per person (incl GST)

Taronga Zoo Trip

Full delegates of GHS2024 will be granted admission to Taronga Zoo on Saturday, June 22, with return transfers provided as part of their registration. Friday day registrants will also have this included in their registration.

Additional tickets are available for guests or day registrants who are not attending Friday’s sessions.

Registration Confirmation

Your registration and successful payment will be acknowledged via email confirmation. Please keep a record of this email and bring it with you to the Conference. Your registration will only be finalised if payment and registration form are completed in full.

Payment Options

Please note all registrations require immediate payment by credit card. Accepted credit cards are MasterCard and Visa. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Global Health Security Conferences’.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference manager at registration@ghsconf.com.

Registration Fees: Registrations can be cancelled before 13 May 2024 23.59 AEST but will incur a cancellation fee of $150 AUD. After this date there will be no refunds.

Social Fees: Social Function tickets can be cancelled before 13 May 2024 23.59 AEST but will incur a cancellation fee of $10 AUD. After this date there will be no refunds.

Onsite

The Organisers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Conference for promotional, advertising or reporting at their sole discretion.

The Organisers reserve the right to remove from the venue/event at any time any attendee deemed to be causing, or potentially causing, a disturbance or exhibiting disruptive or inappropriate behaviour. Such removal does not constitute a right to refund of any fees paid.

Name badge

Each member of the Conference will receive a name badge upon registration. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times in order to obtain entry to Conference sessions, Exhibition and Welcome Reception. The Program Committee reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner. Please make sure to spell your name correctly when filling out the registration form as this will be the name that is printed on your badge.

The GHS2024 Organising committee reserve the right to alter the program without prior notice including but not limited to changes to any of the timetables, social functions or other items related to the meeting, for any causes beyond its control. The GHS2024 Organising Committee are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, GHS2024 and GHSN do not accept responsibility for any monies lost caused by delays. It is recommended that all participants take out personal travel insurance including cover of personal possessions. The GHS2024 Organising Committee does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft or damage to belongings.
